Devendra Banhart's To Release New Album in October

During the quiet mellow Sunday's of the last 8 months, we have found independent folk/rock dude Devendra Banhart's music a big part of our Sunday soundtrack( tip of the hat to Jake over at The AmericanUnderground blog for recommending him), and now comes some news that Banhart has left XL Recordings for the big hallowed halls of Warner Bros to release his upcoming album What Will We Be.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club join the growing list of artists and band releasing albums independent of any record label or physical store. Cardinology Out 10/27? World Waits on Baited Breath

Will Ryan Adams & the Cardinals release a new album on October 27th? According to some rumblings on a fan site, the answer is yes. Cardinology or 'III/IV' are possible titles floating out there on the interwebs. Time will tell.
