Continuing this weeks string of great news on upcoming releases, Dinosaur Jr. have announced the release of their new album Farm.
While we are still recovering from the amps-on-11 awesomeness that was 2007's reunion album Beyond, the original band - J. Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph have beaten the odds and apparently still like each other enough to record another batch of new songs and hit the road in support of them.
Press Release verbage:
"Farm was recorded in J Mascis' Bisquiteen studio in Amherst, Massachusetts, and was produced by Mascis. The band will be touring throughout April, showcasing their new tracks in intimate venues. With the purchase of a ticket to these select shows, fans will receive either a limited edition, tour-only 7", or a digital download code. The A-Side is new track, "I Don't Wanna Go There," while the B-Side is a revisited classic, "Tarpit," from You're Living All Over Me."
Farm is slated for release June 23rd on the band's new label Jagjaguwar.
