Guitarist/singer Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys is preparing to release his first solo album in early 2009. According to a press release from Nonesuch records, Keep it Hid will be released on February 10, 2009, and be supported by a tour.
"This record is a mixture of things I like to listen to, psychedelia, soul music, country harmonies," Auerbach says in the release. Recorded at Auerbach's personal studio, Keep It Hid features contributions from Auerbach's friends and family.
