New Music Alert: Bon Iver

While perusing our favorite music blogs and online sites, we've consistently been bombarded with press for Bon Iver, and so far, we are liking what we hear.

Bon Iver (pronounced "bohn eevair"), released an album earlier this year titled For Emma, Forever Ago on the Jagjaguwar recording label. The band is actually one person, Justin Vernon, who recorded the album after the break up of his previous band and his subsequent three month stay in his father's cabin somewhere in Northwestern Wisconsin

Ethereal, folky, haunting. These are the words we're using to describe this release. Check it out.
