New Rekkids Droppin' Soon

Mudhoney
Great news Mudhoney fans, it looks like the band is gearing up to release a new album May 20, 2008, through Sub Pop called The Lucky Ones. You can read a hilarious interview with vocalist Mark Arm here on Sub Pop's site.

Spiritualized
Space rockers Spiritualized have a few more Acoustic Mainline tour dates left before they drop their new untitled opus this Spring/Summer. Santa Barbara and San Diego peeps take note:
April 23rd Santa Barbara - Lobero Theatre

Portishead
Only 10 years later, Portishead are finally ready to unleash their long-awaited third album on us, April 14th , 2008, is the drop date, and as they've had a long time to figure things out, that time off has paid off big time in the title of the new album - THIRD.

The Black Crowes
Lastly, those pissed off, doobie smoking hippies, The Black Crowes have a new album out March 4, 2008, called Warpaint. It's their first album of new material since 2001's deplorable Lions, and 1999's shittastic By Your Side. So basically, everyone who thought their last good album was 1997's 3 Snakes & One Charm get ready to roll one and have your hopes either met or deflated.
